Swine Flu
What are the symptoms of swine flu?
How is it spread? Through food? Is it airborne?
What is the current pandemic alert level as indicated by the WHO? Do you think Singapore is at risk?
What are your thoughts and feelings towards this event? Are you afraid? Confident in the government? Worried about your relatives? Ambivalent? Happy that schools may be closed?

Swine flu symptoms are similar to ordinary flu such as fever, cough, sore throat, body aches chills and fatigue.

It spread from human to human through coughing or sneezing just like common seasonal flu. Sometimes people may be infected by touching something with flu virus on it and then touch their nose or mouth.Swine flu can be airborne if someone cough without covering their mouth.

The current pandemic level is at level 5.

I think Singapore is at risk as the virus is contagious and it spread very quickly.

I think what is happening last time is happening again. It is repeating. If last time it was SARS now there's a new disease that is develope. I am afraid that I will be infected by this virus if it reach Singapore later but I believe that Singapore is able to face it just like last time when there are SARS. I am definitely worry about my relatives and family. I do not want to loose any of them. I will be happy if the school had to be closed as I won't need to face the teachers but of course its not a good sign as it means that this virus is dangerous and the pandemic level is vary high.
